'Haram' is the debut directorial venture of editor turned director Vinod Sukumaran. The movie is jointly produced by cinematographer-director P Sukumar and Saji Samuel.
'Haram' is the story of immature youth. Balu (Fahad Fazil) is a Call Centre employee. Balu and his colleague Isha (Radhika Apte) are so close that their friendship leads to their marriage.
Their infatuation ends up in marriage but soon their married life starts to get derailed. Instead of having similar thoughts and deeds, they start to think differently. Their lack of confidence in each other results in complete failure of their life together.
The movie throws light on the rising trend of immediate marriage and divorce.
Sreekumar, Binoy, Rajasree Deshpande, Madhupal, Seenath, and Sagarika also include the cast of 'Haram'. Satheesh Kurup is the cinematographer.
